Nobody leaves here knowing how to operate a piece of software. They leave knowing what they want to do with it.
If you are against AI, we are going to put AI against AI. And if you are for it, we are going to put it in the service of what is human.
Understanding it and using it well is one cause. Protecting what is human is another, and both fit in the same room. What does not fit is prejudice, or a preliminary study turned into a verdict. There will be harmful effects, certainly, and there will be better ones: the car did not take our legs away, it carried us farther out to walk the trails.
You can use the machine to defend what you want to keep, or switch it off and open a human space. But first we have to say which human thing it is that we love. Before AI the debate was whether there was any creativity left or only reheated leftovers; now everybody loves human creativity and despises Suno because its music is mediocre, as if most of ours were not. If the medicine cures you, do you care whether a robot or a human made it? If Macbeth moves you, does it ruin the play that the one who dies is an actor and not the King of Scotland?

Having opinions without risking anything is a stance that leads nowhere. We propose speaking from your own experience, given that not even the people who built AI can predict the future with any certainty.
In the service of a cause
Experimenting without a purpose ends in procrastination, or in tedium and overload. But if we put into it what moves us deeply, and we push that forward, then no time is wasted and nothing locks up.

My experimental framework for artificial intelligence has four conditions.
Any experiment worth the trouble meets all four. When one of them fails, you can tell.

To inspire reflection and to provoke experimentation.
Not because I want everyone to use AI, but because there are people already using it and cases that genuinely changed: my father, at 77, could not teach his class today without it. I have seen what it does for certain people, myself included. And doubt is in order: nothing is free, they want you hooked, this is a business. That is why the position gets taken with your hands on the machine. Nobody is going to impose a vision here: we are going to imagine the future and start building it.

Writer. Founder of Syncron iA. All-terrain creator.
He came to artificial intelligence out of a pioneer's nature, not out of fashion. Podcasts and digital projects since 2005. Ciudad Cultura, the first multimedia digital outlet for independent culture in Puebla, free, from 2009 to 2011. And a creator's trade that took him to the global entertainment networks as readily as to rural classrooms and communities with far fewer resources. Always experimental, always open to technology and to new ideas.
Black humor, philosophical depth and pop culture in the same sentence: barrio and metaphysics. He believes imagination is not entertainment but a force capable of transforming reality, and that you can make people think without ever losing the entertainment.
